This thesis proposed adapting the rural agricultural community space of the Grange Hall to support the long-term development of an urban community food system. The complex topic of urban food systems is explored through the intersection of local food infrastructure, community space, and urban agriculture. This Inglewood Grange catalyzes the development of a food district destination along downtown Market Street, improving local health, creating economic opportunities, and enhancing the identity of Inglewood as a city.
