An apartment building proposed in a lowrise neighborhood just entering a phase of densification, this design emphasized a contemporary interpretation of traditional residential forms and detailing. The colors and materials are inspired by the grove of cedar trees retained along the north property line. The facades are characterized by vertical groupings of windows and doors, accentuated by vertical painted cedar battens. Warm tones of paint and wood accent siding complete the concept.
